Russian army to purchase UAV Aileron-3SV from Enix Company for an amount of €2.2 million.
The Russian Ministry of Defense and the Defense Company Enix concluded a contract for the acquisition of 34 short-range intelligence drones for a total amount of 100 million rubles (EUR 2.2 million), said Valery Pobejimov member of Enix during an interview with the Russian Press agency RIA Novosti.
     


The Aileron-3 SV is unmanned drone controlled from the ground used for supervising the battlefield and providing intelligence.

     

"We agreed with the Russian military department a contract for the delivery of these systems, the agreement was reached yesterday," said the representative of the company.

M.Pobejimov said that under the contract, the Company based in Kazan, Tatarstan, will supply the Russian Ministry of Defence with 17 Aileron-3SV systems, including 34 UAVs unmanned aerial aircraft.

"I can not specify the exact amount of the contract, but it is more than 100 million rubles," said the CEO of Enix adding that the delivery will take place before 2015.

According to Mister Pobejimov, the Russian army will receive the latest generation of drones with a price five times less than other foreign similar equipment.

The Aileron-3SV drone is a short-range intelligence aircraft with a total weight of 5.3 kg and able to carry a load of 1 kg. This UAV can reach a maximum speed of 130 km/h and fly at 4,000 meters altitude.
